Job description
Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician is responsible for safely assembling equipment by following detailed work instructions from supervisors and team leaders. This role involves using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools to build products.ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts, subassemblies, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components.Install accessories such as lights, cameras, decals, mud flaps, and other equipment.Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, torque guns, and measuring devices.Drill and tap holes for wiring, hoses, and components.Read measurements, blueprints, schematics, and standard work instructions.Position and secure parts using templates and fixtures.Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment where required.Cross-train and work in different assembly areas based on production needs.Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.Essential SkillsPhysically demanding role.No prior experience required.Skills in assembly, mechanical assembly, and general labor.Proficiency in using power tools and production equipment.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA.The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.40/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
