AssemblerLocation: Bothell, WA 98021 Duration: 12 months (Possible extension) Pay rate range: $25 – $27/hr on w2 (All inclusive)Shift: 2nd Shift (4:15 PM to 2:45 AM, Mon- Thursday)Job DescriptionIn this role, you have the opportunity to take part in the production of life-saving devices that are designed for both home and professional use around the world. You will be a member of a growing team of committed individuals continually striving for improvement, helping to ensure that our production floor is always operating at maximum efficiency at all times. You are a part of the Emergency Care and Resuscitation (ECR) Operations Team organization within client. This group is leading the way in emergency care and resuscitation from the field to the hospital, through our innovative portfolio of defibrillator-monitors and AEDs.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform all levels of electronic assembly and testing where needed.Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies following work instructions and/or drawings.Inspect electronic assemblies for proper workmanship as defined in assembly procedures.Implement Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement strategies.Carry out assignments in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring work is in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and safety codes.Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).Clean and maintain the work area, and properly turn off and lock out equipment when applicable.Adhere to production schedules and report material shortages.Accurately document all required entries in an electronic Device History Record and assembly logs.Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with regard to material labeling, SOPs, and proper segregation of material in the production process.Physical & Environmental RequirementsBe able to stand and/or sit for 10+ hours a day and lift up to 20 lbs.Demonstrate good hand dexterity while working on small parts.Operations may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, or steel-toed shoes.Technical Skills:Demonstrate complex mechanical assembly capability.Must have basic computer skills; able to navigate test screens using a mouse as prompted in assembly procedures.Proficient in the use of mechanical and electrical tools, power tools, torque wrenches, volt meters, hand tools, and compressed gas.Compliance & Communication:Knowledge and experience working in a highly regulated environment.Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and follow written and verbal instructions.High attention to detail and team-oriented approach, demonstrating cooperation and support.Availability: Overtime may be required.Preferred Qualifications & ExperienceOne or more years working in a manufacturing environment preferred.Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
