This role involves working with mechanical and electrical components while ensuring quality and safety standards. Essential Functions:Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power toolsFollow work instructions, drawings, and SOPsPerform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosticsRecord results in computer systemsEnsure compliance with quality and regulatory requirementsReport issues related to materials, processes, or equipmentSupport Lean/5S initiativesMaintain a safe, organized work areaComplete production documentationSupport installations (10–20% travel)CompetenciesHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read technical instructionsBasic computer skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and in teamsEffective communication skillsEducation and Experience1–3 years manufacturing or assembly experienceElectromechanical or medical device experienceFamiliarity with Lean or 5SExperience with electrical testing toolsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
