Job description

Assembly JobRegal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembler. Assemblers are responsible for the installation and assembly of Regal's boats following specific Workmanship Instructions (WI) for each model.Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assemble parts onto the boat per the description of the Sales order by using the correct tools and proper methods to attain the correct standard in the installation.Follow proper safety requirements for the use of hand tools, drills, screw guns, and other equipment.Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. You are responsible for the quality of work you perform.Verify Sales Order for special options and ensure materials are on hand to complete daily production schedules.Required QualificationsBe able to use a variety of hand tools. Ex. - razor knives, screwgun, drill and tape measureMust have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical partsMust be able to work under time constraints and deadlinesFollow instructions of Leadership when doing miscellaneous dutiesWork with a team to complete daily tasksMust have strong attention to detailAble to keep the work area clean and orderlyConversational EnglishPreferred QualificationsPrevious Manufacturing ExperiencePrevious work history in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanics, etc.Ability to read and comprehend technical documentsWork EnvironmentMust be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb into and out of the boats using stairs.
