Job description
AssemblerJoin a growing manufacturing team where your attention to detail and hands-on skills make an impact. We are looking for reliable Assemblers to support the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. We have openings on the Electrical Assembly team and with the Mechanical Assembly team. In this role, you'll work with tools, follow blueprints, and collaborate with a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous growth.ResponsibilitiesAssemble components into finished products using blueprints, diagrams, and work ordersRead and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and other technical documentsUse hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to build and secure parts to specificationPerform quality checks to ensure products are level, square, and meet required standardsInspect materials and components for defects (dents, scratches, alignment issues) before and during assemblyAssemble electrical components such as switchboards, panelboards, and copper bussing per design specificationsConduct visual inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify and correct nonconforming partsSchedule:Monday-Friday 7am-5pmThe minimum work week is 50 hours. There is overtime available. Most employees work 55-60 hours weekly.Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis, typically taking place on Saturdays.All hours over 40 hours worked in a week will be paid at 1.5x.Skill RecommendationsPrevious experience using basic hand and power toolsThe ability to read and follow work instructionsExperience from industries such as manufacturing, general construction trades, and automotive repair beneficial but not mandatoryAdditional InformationStrong opportunities for advancement into quality, machine operation, leadership, and other business unitsHands-on training with a supportive team structure and strong leadership supportCulture focused on trust, continuous improvement, and long-term career growthBrand-new manufacturing facilityRequired PPE: steel-toed boots (employee provided), safety glasses (company provided)Structured onboarding with dedicated training during your first week before joining the production teamThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
