Assembler, GeneralThe mission of LCI is to provide meaningful employment for the blind and visually impaired. We were pioneers of "base supply centers," stores on military bases that employ the blind and visually impaired and provide mission-critical supplies to our nation's military.SUPPORT: We want to end blindness forever. To that end, we engage in philanthropic efforts for research into blindness and treatment for the visually impaired.About This RoleThe General Assembler job involves material assembly, equipment operations, decision making, ability to show attention to quality detail work, and the ability to multitask. An employee that is dedicated to safety, quality and meeting the needs of our customer.Location and ScheduleTupelo, MS- On siteMonday-Friday 7:00am--3:30pmKey ResponsibilitiesMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.QualificationsBasic reading and math skills. Previous production experience needed.
