Assembler, HarnessAt Elma Electronic, we design and manufacture high-performance electronic systems that support critical applications across defense, aerospace, industrial technology, and other advanced markets. We are currently seeking a skilled Assembler, Harness to join our growing team in Fremont, CA as we prepare for upcoming production ramp-ups and key program implementations.If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that builds products with real-world impact, we encourage you to apply. This is an onsite role in Fremont, CA.What You'll DoIn this role, you will assemble, test, and inspect high-quality cable and harness assemblies used across our system-level builds. Key responsibilities include:Build semi-complex to complex cable harnesses, including AC/DC power cables, I/O cabling, and custom cable assembliesFollow established methods, drawings, samples, and work instructions to complete assemblies accuratelyUse hand tools and cable-specific equipment such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering stations, and cable testersPerform in-process and final inspections; test cable assemblies to ensure compliance with specificationsSupport wiring of built chassis when custom cabling workload is minimalMaintain ESD compliance and follow Elma workmanship standardsKeep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with housekeeping guidelinesMeet production schedules, quality standards, and documentation requirementsWhat You BringHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3+ years of experience in cable or harness assemblyAbility to read and follow technical drawings, samples, and written instructionsFamiliarity with standard cable assembly tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipManual dexterity and comfort performing fine manipulation tasksAbility to lift and carry up to 20 lbsComfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environmentCompensationHourly Rate: $20.00 – $28.00 per hourWhy Join Elma Electronic?Be part of a team supporting cutting-edge engineering and manufacturingOpportunities for growth and skill developmentCollaborative and hands-on work environmentContribute to programs that make an impactEqual Employment Opportunity StatementElma Electronic Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
