Job description
AssemblerWe are seeking a dependable and experienced Assembler to perform mechanical and electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is mature, reliable, detail-oriented, and works well with others.Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, onsiteHours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PMResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electrical parts and components according to detailed work instructionsUse hand tools, power tools, and bench-testing equipmentPosition and assemble parts according to required specificationsPerform basic machine setup and operate production equipment when neededInspect completed products to ensure quality standards are metPackage finished products for shipmentFollow all quality, safety, and environmental policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork independently while managing time effectivelyAssist with other production duties as assignedQualificationsAt least one year of assembly experience is required; two or more years is preferredMechanical and electrical assembly experience is strongly preferredPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to follow detailed instructions and established assembly processesComfortable using hand tools and basic production equipmentDependable, mature, and able to work well with a teamReliable transportation and ability to consistently report to the onsite work locationWillingness to work overtime when requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairsAbility to push, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 35 poundsComfortable working in a production environment with varying noise levels and possible exposure to manufacturing fumes, paints, adhesives, and chemicals
