Entry-Level Manufacturing TechnicianCPI AdamWorks in Centennial, Colorado, has a need for an entry-level manufacturing technician in our Paint and Assembly Departments. We design and build composite structures for aircraft, defense, and space and would love you to join our team!CPI AdamWorks is a division of CPI Radant Technologies Division. They are located in Centennial, Colorado. Together, we are the radome-and-composite-structures division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI). We are formally known as CPI Radant Technologies Division, and we serve the aerospace, defense, naval, and commercial industries by designing, manufacturing, testing and supporting advanced composite radomes, reflectors and structural composite products.Radomes are special "domes" made of composite materials that protect antennas and radar systems from the environment while allowing electromagnetic signals to pass. CPI Radant produces these for critical applications, meaning:They enable secure communications and radar/electronic-warfare capabilities for military and commercial aerospace platforms.Their manufacturing includes large apertures and high-frequency performance.Their advances in composite manufacturing and large structures feed into modern aircraft, satellites, naval vessels, etc.Duties:Mold and material preparation for layups of composite structuresComposite paint, layup and tooling, using carbon fiber and other composite materialsBasic mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and hand measuring equipmentOther duties as assignedRequirements:Composite experience preferred. Will provide training.Must be US Citizen (ITAR and DoD program requirements).Must be able to read, write, and understand EnglishGood written documentation and oral communication skillsAbility to follow written instructions and associated manufacturing plans or sketchesMust be able to read from written instructions and follow verbal directionsPushing/pulling/lifting up to 30 poundsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentWork schedule is four 10 hour days, Mondays through Thursdays, 1st shift 6:00am-4:30pmHourly rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourThis position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
