Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.The NPI Assembler II performs electronic assembly of components, subassemblies, and chassis in support of new product introduction and production goals. This role ensures products are built to quality and performance standards while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities and assembly activities may change daily.Responsibilities:Uses Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or re-assemble unitsWorks on assignments that are semi routine in natureCommunicates openly and effectively in a professional mannerUnderstands and follows all safety requirementsUnderstands and follows ISO practices and proceduresMaintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenanceMay assist with training other AE employees in established processesWork Environment:Location: Fort Collins, COEnvironment: manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast pacedMany tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipmentOvertime (OT) may be required in times of increased production or service repairsQualifications:Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functionsAbility to recognize nonconformities requiredSoldering skills preferredAbility to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skillsComponent identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation requiredBasic PC knowledgeKnowledge of SAP preferredAbility to effectively work in a team environmentModels positive and professional work ethicsConsiders the impact to quality when making decisionsExperience:Knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblyProven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environmentKnowledge and understanding of ESD practicesEducation:High School Diploma or EquivalentCompensation:As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
