Job description
General Production WorkerJoin our team to install railings, awnings, stairs, and other metal products at various job sites. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting measurements, drawings, and installation instructions, and performing shop assembly and fabrication using hand and power tools.ResponsibilitiesInstall railings, awnings, stairs, and other metal products at job sites.Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and installation instructions.Perform shop assembly and fabrication using hand and power tools.Assist with cutting, fitting, drilling, and assembling metal components.Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed.Maintain clean and organized job sites and shop areas.Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.Essential SkillsExperience in construction, carpentry, fabrication, metalwork, or a related trade.Ability to accurately use tape measures and common measuring tools.Experience using hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings.Comfortable working outdoors in hot weather conditions.Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights when required.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds routinely.Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience installing railings, stairs, awnings, canopies, or architectural metal products.Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.Experience operating basic shop equipment.Why Work Here?We offer overtime opportunities, allowing you to increase your earnings while working in a dynamic and engaging environment.Work EnvironmentThis role involves working outdoors, often in hot weather conditions, and requires comfort with climbing ladders and working at varying heights. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
