Job description
Assembly OperatorSorting and checking, inspection, PCB and small parts assembly, aiming. Uses fingers or tools to perform one or more repetitive assembly operations to produce small, light-weight products.Specific duties, activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Familiarize self with customs, procedures, protocol and policies of operations departmentContinually improve assembly accuracy and timeEffectively work with members of designated teamLearn new techniques and machinery as assignedMaintain a conscientious effort toward safetyAssist in areas of need such as training, vacation and break coverage, and all other areas as assignedKeep all work areas clean, organized and presentableComply with and ensure department compliance with company health, safety and environmental policiesComply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulationsOther duties as requiredPosition requirements:Education/training: high school diploma or equivalentExperience: 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge/skills:Attention to detailCommunication and teamwork skillsElectronic wiring and assembly skillsAbility to build to customized specificationsAbility to adhere to safety requirementsMust be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as needed
