Assembler - Mark & Pack – Santa Ana, CARBC Bearings Incorporated (NYSE: RBC) is a leading international manufacturer of highly engineered precision bearings and components for the industrial, defense, and aerospace industries. We currently have 60 facilities, of which 43 are manufacturing facilities in ten countries and our market capitalization is approximately $14.5 billion.Essential Functions of the Job:Operate marking equipment including electro-etching units, laser engravers, dot peening units, and ink stampers to label parts accurately.Inspect parts for correct identification and quality standards before and after marking.Perform wrapping, boxing, and labeling of parts according to packaging specifications and customer requirements.Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.Follow safety protocols and production procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Record job completion details and report any defects or equipment issues to supervisors.Education:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.Experience:1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Proficiency in operating marking equipment and toolsStrong attention to detail for accurate labeling and defect detectionEffective manual dexterity for wrapping and boxing parts efficientlyBasic computer skills for logging work or referencing job instructionsGood time management to meet production deadlinesAbility to follow written and verbal instructions preciselyCapability to lift and handle parts of varying sizes and weights up to 25lbsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamCapacity to maintain focus during repetitive tasksWillingness to adapt to changing production needsPhysical & Environmental Factors:Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods, repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting and carrying up to 25lbs, and manual dexterity for handling small components and operating marking equipment.Environmental Conditions: Exposure to industrial noise, working around marking chemicals (e.g., ink, etching solutions) with proper PPE, and temperature variations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident ("green card" holders) or have refugee or asylee status.Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00/hour.
