Overview
Metalcraft of Mayville is looking for dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team!
In this role, you'll assemble parts and components to build finished products according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality specifications. You'll use a variety of tools and equipment, inspect your work for accuracy, and work alongside other team members to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
Gather the parts, tools, and materials needed to complete assigned work
Position, align, and fasten components to create finished assemblies
Use templates, measurements, and basic measuring tools to properly position components
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and quality
Identify and communicate assembly or quality concerns
Make basic adjustments to components when needed to meet specifications
Complete required production and quality documentation
Perform basic preventative maintenance and help keep equipment operating properly
Monitor materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work
Safely and efficiently use tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company and plant safety procedures
Work with other team members and departments to meet production goals
Assist with other production duties as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly is a plus
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
Understanding of basic measurements and torque values is a plus
Strong basic math skills
Good hand and finger dexterity
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Previous forklift experience is a plus
Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a plus
