Job description
Manufacturing TechnicianThe Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for the building of various manufacturing equipment to support the production goals of a work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, and calibrate all levels of assemblies and install them in the final build of instruments that meet quality standards.Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly and mechanical assembly.Proficiency with hand tools.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectronics assembly knowledge preferred but not required.Experience with pipette testing and fiber optic instruments.Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled environment with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Middleton, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
