AssemblerKurt Workholding has set the standard for quality and reliability with machine vises and workholding technology for over 60 years. We manufacture and sell a complete line of workholding products for the machining industry. Our innovative angle lock design vises have built our reputation and allowed us to expand into a variety of other manufacturing sectors including 5-axis vises, workholding towers, automation and quality control. Kurt Workholding also provides manufacturers custom engineered solutions to help them maximize efficiency and quality.The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling machine parts according to specifications.Shift/Hours: Mon-Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.CompensationThe anticipated starting pay range for this position is $20.24 to $27.00. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.Essential FunctionsReads and follows blueprints, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts, partially or completely, in an accurate and timely fashion.Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools.May remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce fit between parts.May operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines or other mechanical devices to assist in assembly operation.May inspect and test assembly.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
