Job description
Mechanical Assembler Needed ImmediatelyResponsibilities And DutiesLocates and positions parts to be processed by following blueprints and Standard Work Instructions.Works at station as member of manufacturing group producing one or more specific parts to meet production requirements.Locates and positions parts in specific areas and secures them in place.May solders parts by following schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions to produce increasingly more complex parts.Verifies dimensions or appearance of part after process using basic measuring tools and gauges.Must be able to work some overtime only as driven by the business needs from time to time, including SaturdaysPerforms related duties, which may be assigned, from one area task to another at area supervisor's requirementsQualificationsBlueprint and/or schematic readingFinger dexterity, manipulating small partsHand-eye coordinationAbility to take directions well from leads/supervisors and work well in a team environmentProactively help improve processes and be able to cross-trainAbility to verify the process of part per final blueprintEffective communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak, and understand English.A minimum of three years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment following the law. Including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
