Heavy-Duty Remanufacturing AssemblerWorking hours: 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday; includes 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime runs on Fridays as business needs.No nights! No weekends! Climate controlled!Job Summary/Objective of JobThe Heavy-Duty Remanufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling, disassembling, and reconditioning heavy-duty truck parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols to ensure high-quality remanufactured products.Summary of Essential Job FunctionsAssembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble heavy-duty truck parts and components according to specifications and blueprints.Inspection and Testing: Inspect parts for wear and damage, perform tests to ensure functionality, and identify parts that need repair or replacement.Reconditioning: Clean, repair, and recondition parts using appropriate tools and techniques to restore them to operational condition.Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on assembled and reconditioned parts to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and tests conducted.Tool Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role, preferably in the heavy-duty truck parts industry.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good physical stamina and dexterity.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work Environment:This position operates in a manufacturing and remanufacturing environment.The role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy parts, and working with various tools and machinery.Performance MetricsTask CompletionProductivity / EfficiencyQuality of workTeamworkDependabilityPhysical DemandsThe physical demands of a Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Assembler position typically include a variety of activities that require both strength and dexterity.
