AssemblerWe bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today.Volt is immediately hiring for an Assembler in Rainsville, AL 35986.As an Assembler, you will:Responsibilities:Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.Bend, shape, cut, and solder wires/lugs.Attach wires using lugs/crimps.Perform sanding of wires as part of preparation process.Pull lead wires and sleeving.Use pneumatic/hydraulic crimping tools.Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.Participate in physical inventory activities.Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.Additional or updated duties as business demands change.This is a full-time, contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Good verbal communication skills.Ability to read and interpret specifications, plans, drawings, shop aids, instructions, and examples.Good time management skills with the ability to organize work.Manually handling up to 50 pounds occasionally by lift/push/pull.Standing or walking for long periods of time.Ability to solder.Preferred Skills:Prior Forklift operation experience preferred.Pay Rate: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
