Assembler Job in Rainsville, ALTotal Talent Solutions is now hiring for an Assembler in Rainsville, AL. Pay rate is $15.00 – $17.00 per hour ($15/hr. + $2 shift differential). The schedule is 2nd shift from 3 PM to 12 AM. Training will be on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.Step Up. Snap In. Ship Out. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, control drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and production documents. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes preferred.Experience RequirementsPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, electrical assembly, or industrial environments preferred. Experience operating production equipment, hand tools, pneumatic tools, or automated machinery is a plus. Experience working in Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement environments is beneficial. Inventory, material handling, or warehouse experience is helpful.Preferred QualificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and multitask effectively. Familiarity with 6S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety practices.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand for the entire shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds; lift-assist equipment used for heavier items. Ability to perform repetitive hand movements requiring strong manual dexterity. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined or narrow spaces as required. Comfortable working around machinery, production equipment, and typical manufacturing noise levels.Job DutiesOperate coil winding equipment, including hand-guided bench lathe machines, hand winders, and multi-layer winding systems. Prepare components for final assembly and testing by bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires or connectors. Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools, robotic welding equipment, and other production machinery. Perform transformer potting operations using epoxy and silica sand while maintaining quality and waste control standards. Utilize lift-assist equipment to safely move and position products throughout the manufacturing process. Participate in inventory activities and support efficient material flow within the facility. Meet daily production, quality, and efficiency goals while maintaining 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards. Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and company procedures while supporting changing production needs.BenefitsCompetitive weekly pay.
