Join us as we continue to power the industry that powers the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematicsOperate machines, hand tools, and power tools to secure and assemble partsInstall finished assemblies or subassembliesAttach functional and cosmetic hardware using appropriate toolsPerform functional and continuity tests on completed assembliesPrioritize work based on the production scheduleAssemble, start up, and function-test equipment systemsTroubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs or correctionsCarry out additional related tasks as assignedComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and proceduresFacility/Group Specific ResponsibilitiesAssemble and disassemble pressure control equipment as neededEducation & Experience QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components preferredJob RequirementsWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requiredDedication to completing assigned projects diligently and on timeBehavioral CompetenciesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentDisplay quality workmanship at all timesMaintain a professional demeanor with customers, supervisors, and managementTechnical CompetenciesAbility to build equipment according to prints and company quality guidelinesStrong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsCompetitive Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.FREE MDLIVE virtual visits (when enrolled in an NOV medical plan).FREE preventative medical and dental care for the entire family (when enrolled in an NOV medical/dental plan and seeing an in-network physician).FREE Basic Life and AD&D insurance at 2 times your annual salary (for full-time employees).All regular full-time employees start with 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (prorated based on start date).
