AssemblerNow hiring for an Assembler – Direct Hire Location: San Diego, CA Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour Schedule: 6:30 am to 3 pm Step Up. Snap In. Ship Out. Looking for Assembler jobs in San Diego where teamwork and steady production make a difference? This opportunity lets you assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.Job DutiesRead, interpret electromechanical drawings, and follow detailed work instructions from production travelers.Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.Uses equipment such as a magnifying glass (microscope), ohm meter, epoxy machine, and hydraulic crimping machine.Execute production hand-soldering tasks in accordance with industry standards, IPC610, IPC620.Cut, Strip, and crimp cables according to schematic requirements.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 10 pounds.Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to pounds, frequently lift and move up to pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to pounds.
