Job description
Job TitleResponsible for assembling and installing copper wire windings onto generator components in the Rotating Machines Department. This role involves reading blueprints, winding and securing copper coils, using hand and power tools, and ensuring all assemblies meet quality and production standards.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install copper wire windings onto generator stators and rotors.Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.Route, wind, connect, and secure copper wire coils according to design requirements.Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and specialized assembly equipment.Inspect assembled parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining attention to detail.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Report defective materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors.Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or assembly experience required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.Experience using hand tools and power tools.Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.Ability to sit for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.Basic quality inspection experience preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
