Hiring Assemblers in Greencastle, PAThis role focuses on assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You use hand, power, and hydraulic tools to build and install parts according to work instructions, blueprints, or manuals. Success in this position requires accurate measurement skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and the flexibility to train and work in multiple areas on the production line.This is a long-term opportunityShift: 2nd shift 3:30pm-2am Monday-ThursdayPay rate: $23.50 with no experiencePay rate: $25.54 with experience in manufacturing assemblyBenefits: Medical, dental, vision and 401k planResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly tasks using hand, power, and hydraulic tools.Follow work instructions, blueprints, and manuals to assemble components accurately and safely.Use tape measures with both metric and imperial units and perform basic conversions to ensure precise measurements.Inspect parts and assemblies during and after installation to confirm they meet quality and safety standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area in a large manufacturing environment, even in dark, dusty, or dirty conditions.Stand for extended periods (75% of the time or more) while performing assembly and related tasks on concrete floors.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months of prior assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge and practical experience using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic tools for assembly work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.54/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
