Job description
Assembler/Tester BYou will help the team meet customer delivery schedules by performing assembly and test functions on gas turbine fuel system components. You will work primarily onsite on a 2nd shift schedule (3PM-1:30AM Mon–Thu) with initial training on 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM Mon–Thu). Your work directly supports production quality, safety, and continuous improvement efforts.Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and assembly fixturesRecord test results on data forms and use basic electrical equipment and flow metersInterpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directivesProduce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications and customer/industry standardsParticipate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvementObserve safety rules and maintain foreign object damage (FOD) free work areasEnsure equipment calibration is maintained per scheduleHere's what you'll need to be successful in this role:High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferredAbility to lift up to 35 lbs as requiredCapability to learn and apply product and process knowledge to new techniquesAbility to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipmentEffective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentPay range: $17.00/hourReady to make your mark?This role may fill quickly.
