Job Opportunity in Elyria, OHJoin our team in Elyria, OH, a city known for its rich history and vibrant community, located in the heart of Lorain County. We are seeking dedicated individuals for a role that involves the precision assembly of fuel pumps and pneumatic valves for commercial aviation and military air and ground vehicles.ResponsibilitiesAssemble small, complex electrical pumps consisting of 60-150 pieces.Work collaboratively in a 'cell' environment with a team of 2-3 people.Ensure high-quality standards through attention to detail and manual dexterity.Interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately.Utilize hand tools and test stand equipment effectively.Problem-solve and critically think through assembly challenges.Communicate effectively within a close-knit team setting.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of mechanical experience or equivalent education.Experience with small precision technical work or assembly of complex objects.Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.Familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment, such as micrometers.Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable team player.Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.Must present a copy of diploma or GED prior to interview.Schedule1 opening: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm7 openings: 6:00 am – 2:30 pmBenefitsCompetitive medical, dental, and vision coverage from hire date.Life insurance policy from hire date.Employee Assistance Program.401k with company match of 5%.Retirement Income Account; EY Financial Planning Program.Annual Cash Incentive Plan (bonus).13 paid holidays annually, 10 vacation days, and 5 sick days.Education (tuition) reimbursement.Adoption Assistance Program.Alternate work schedule; voluntary overtime.PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
