AssemblerThe Assembler position performs semi-repetitive assembly and adjustment tasks using a variety of hand and simple power tools. This role focuses on assembling, inspecting, and packaging wood-based products by following blueprints, drawings, and work instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly and adjustment tasks of a semi-repetitive nature using hand tools and simple power tools.Follow blueprints, drawings, manuals, procedure manuals, and assembly materials to complete work accurately.Inspect assembled components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Package finished products according to work instructions and production requirements.Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks while meeting production targets.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing or general production environment preferred.Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day and perform repetitive work.Comfortable working with a variety of hand tools and power tools.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a wood manufacturing environment. The work involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive assembly and production tasks, and using hand tools and power tools on a regular basis. Employees work around wood products and related manufacturing equipment in a production setting that emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Teutopolis, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
