Assemblers Needed In Libertyville, ILSurestaff is immediately hiring assemblers for a client in Libertyville, IL. Assembles electromechanical devices, such as solenoids, basic wound coils and electromagnets as laid out in drawings, routers, and work instructions. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shift:Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Four 10-hour shiftsResponsibilities of the Assembler:Assembly and kitting of various productsWorking with components used in oxygen mask kits for airplanes and drive-thru window productsReading work orders and assembly instructionsMaintaining quality and accuracy while meeting production goalsUse fixtures, machines, presses, and tools to assemble parts according to print and router, including, electronic components and wound coils.Cutting and grouting wires to connect electrical units using hand tools.Test wire assembly, using ohmeter, or resistant testers to evaluate connections for resistance, short, and grounds.Stakes units, adjusts springs, and shafts to meet specifications.Performances other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the Department Manager.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Knowledge of Quality Management systems, policies, goals, and objectives after training.Assist with system based on Lean principle and practices to meet or exceed the requirements of the established QMS and all other standards required to serve our Target markets.Required Qualifications of the Assembler:High school diploma equivalentFive years of work experience within a manufacturing, setting servicing, electronic, components, industrial, and or space marketMust be able to read and understand order details and work instructionsAbility to follow written and verbal directionsAbout SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
