We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.The ideal candidate will be able to assemble, build, and/or fabricate defect-free parts and/or finished products per the assigned written processes, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of products within the Assembler's assigned product area (i.e. Value Stream). Will work with Team Leaders, Product Planners, and Material Coordinators daily to meet all delivery requirements.Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Thursday. 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM Friday.To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Assemble pieces, parts, or whole componentsHand solder componentsMeasure and epoxy componentsWork and communicate with manufacturing engineering to resolve problems and make process improvementsKeep work area clean and organized per 5/6S standardsFollow open shop order report and processFollow ISO standardsMentor new manufacturing employees as needed.Serve as a manufacturing cell's point person when needed/assignedAttend/participate in instructor led and/or web-based company training as requiredParticipation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activitiesHigh school diploma or GED preferredExperience with hand toolsProduction or assembly background preferredGood hand-eye coordination skillsMust be able to read and understand written processBasic math and measurement skillsGood communication skillsHave attention to detailSoldering skills preferred but not requiredMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be willing to follow all written and implied policiesFlexible forty-hour week, but must be able to work moderate overtime to meet seasonal/cyclical demands of the businessProvides routing feedback to the Field Service Supervisor and Customer Support Manager relative to major or repetitive product or customer problems, competitive information, product enhancements, and potential sales opportunities.Willingness to travel internationally or outside of their normally designated geographical areas.Monitors ISO procedures and recommends changes when required using the approved ISO process.Performs other duties as may be required.(The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters and must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
