Electrical / Mechanical AssemblerIntegrity Municipal Systems LLC (IMS) is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Assembler in its Zeeland, Michigan facility. The role will primarily focus on assembling mechanical and electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and experience in equipment assembly.Essential Job Functions:Assemble mechanical and electrical components and system assembliesPerform light material handling and organize components for assemblyUtilize hand tools such as grinders, drills, wrenches, and similar equipmentPlumb systems using galvanized, PVC, and copper piping, including gluing and solderingAssist with installation of industrial electrical wiring and conduitSupport installation and wiring of medium and low voltage motorsInterpret and work from schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions as neededAssist with control panel assembly when applicableMaintain work areas, tools, and equipment in safe and proper working conditionEnsure compliance with company safety standards and proceduresParticipate in occasional travel and field service work as requiredWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goalsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience preferredMechanical aptitude and ability to work with both mechanical and electrical componentsExperience using basic hand and power toolsFamiliarity with PVC, copper, and galvanized piping systemsBasic understanding of industrial electrical wiring and conduit installation preferredAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics preferredForklift (Hi-Lo) experience is a plusPositive attitude and strong work ethicKnowledge of workplace safety practicesValid driver's license requiredWillingness to travel occasionally for service-related workPhysical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials and components as neededManual dexterity to operate tools and equipmentAbility to work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneelingVisual ability to read schematics, measurements, and assembly instructionsWork Environment:Primarily light industrial manufacturing environmentMay involve exposure to equipment, noise, and industrial materialsWork may include handling materials associated with water and wastewater equipment systemsAppropriate PPE and safety training will be providedCompensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $28.00 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
