Assembly 2Location: Addison, IL 60101Pay Rate: $18.00/hrShift: 1stAssembler Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable Assembler to perform product and final assembly operations according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and written instructions.Assemble products accurately according to specifications.Ensure products meet or exceed company quality standards.Perform equipment maintenance as required.Identify quality issues and notify management when necessary.Support continuous process improvement initiatives.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all company safety procedures and requirements.Work effectively with team members to meet production schedules and goals.Qualifications:Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to read and understand drawings, diagrams, and written instructions.Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and management direction.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.Ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.Ability to visually inspect products and components.Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.Work Environment:Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment.Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas.Employees are expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
