Job description
Manufacturing Assembly OperatorResponsible for assembling components in a heavy manufacturing environment, operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and following work orders and safety procedures.Essential FunctionsAssemble products using Bills of Materials, proper materials, and parts.Operate overhead hoists, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.Apply paint to suspension components using a spray gun.Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.Complete work orders, Kanban cards, and required production documentation.Meet established production and quality standards.Read and follow work orders, product routers, work instructions, and control plans.Properly handle and store paint, solvents, and other waste materials.Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies.Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Ability to work overtime or outside regular hours as needed.Physical & Work RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, and grasp.Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.Work in a loud industrial environment with frequent exposure to manufacturing-related atmospheric conditions.Follow all required PPE, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.COM068 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
