Job description
Assembly TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the precision assembly of bellows components and subassemblies, ensuring all products are built according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or assembly environments, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssemble bellows and related components according to work instructions and engineering specifications.Prepare materials for assembly, including cleaning, deburring, and staging components for production.Assemble precision parts and subassemblies while maintaining proper alignment and fit.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and written assembly instructions.Utilize hand tools and assembly fixtures to complete production tasks safely and efficiently.Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure products meet quality standards.Perform visual inspections of completed assemblies to identify defects or inconsistencies.Maintain accurate production documentation as required.Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.Follow company policies, quality procedures, and production schedules.Assist with other production and assembly tasks as assigned.Required ExperiencePrevious experience in manufacturing, production, or mechanical assembly preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred SkillsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.Experience assembling precision components or mechanical products.Familiarity with quality inspection processes.Strong organizational and time management skills.Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.Tools & Equipment UsedHand toolsWrenchesAssembly fixtures and aidsCalipersMicrometersGaugesOther precision measuring instruments
