Job description

Assembly InspectorYou will be the Assembly Inspector for the Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance across all assembly and manufacturing phases. As the Assembly Inspector you will be responsible for performing comprehensive inspections of parts and assemblies, verifying conformity to standards and specifications, and supporting continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform thorough inspections of subcontracted, purchased, and in-house parts using measuring equipment and basic computing tools.Accurately document inspection results, discrepancies, and corrective actions while maintaining organized records.Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and acceptance criteria to ensure proper identification, dimensions, and workmanship.Train and mentor new personnel on inspection procedures and best practices.Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and support.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality results. Discover more about our Archbald, Pennsylvania location.Basic Qualifications:2 years+ years of experience or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.Must be able to read blueprint, work instructions and interpret engineering drawing requirements.Proficient computing literacy.Demonstrated ability to use basic measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.Must be able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required.Must have IPC certification, or ability to obtain certification.Must be able to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.Must be able to obtain a Government Secret security clearance.Desired Skills:Previous Mechanical and/or Electrical inspection experience.Experience working successfully in a team environment.Experience working in various assembly areas and/or previous inspection experience.Experience inspecting electrical components and/or printed wiring boards.Experience/Knowledge working on cabinet assemblies and/or piece parts.Knowledge of MIL standards.Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill.Pay rate for this position is $28.73 per hour.
