Assembly Technician - JasperAmerican Made Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team supporting a leading manufacturer of commercial fixtures and furniture. This role focuses on precision assembly of custom-built components, ensuring all products meet quality and design standards. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with woodworking, cabinetry, or similar assembly processes and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.Shift: 1st 6:00 am to 4:30 pmPay Rate: Starting at $17phKey ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret shop drawings and assembly instructions quickly and accurately.Assemble furniture and public space materials, including fitting drawers, doors, and moldings to specification.Apply and fit coverings on cases or components as needed.Adjust and repair minor defects such as dents or scratches to ensure a high-quality finish.Install and repair hardware components when required.Maintain accuracy and efficiency when assembling parts to prevent damage and ensure quality output.Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment required for assembly tasks.QualificationsProven experience in furniture assembly, cabinetry, or similar manufacturing environments.Ability to read and work from technical drawings or blueprints.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship with an eye for quality.Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in assembly work.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or stoop for extended periods.Must regularly lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Capable of using hands and arms to handle tools, parts, and materials with precision.
