As the leading, privately held U.S. manufacturer of innovative high-performance flexible circuit boards, we are dedicated to the design, production, and assembly of advanced printed circuit board assembly (PCBAs) technology solutions.We develop cutting-edge solutions that explore new frontiers, serve and protect our armed forces and allies, safeguard national security against evolving threats, and propel advancements in hypersonic technology.Our customers include some of the largest aerospace and defense companies like RTX, Lockheed Martin, GE Aerospace, NASA, JPL, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing.The Assembly Kitting Operator receives bare boards and hardware products, prepares tote boxes with materials and components specified on bill of materials (BOM) and manufacturing traveler, and releases to Assembly production line.What You'll Do:Reads and understands SOPs, work instructions and requirements specified in the manufacturing traveler.Handles all electronic parts following ESD and Moisture Sensitive procedureReviews bare board travelers; verifies final inspection operation has been stamped off; verifies part number, quantity, lot number and revision number with traveler and drawingReceives bare boards and hardware and logs into ProCIM systemReviews BOM and assembly traveler for required bare board, materials and componentsEstablishes a lot release size for each job and prepares tote boxes; ensures the kit tote boxes are properly labeled as specified on the SOPEnsures to issue kit totes to production line on-time per the prioritized production schedule reportEnsures to update all status in ProCIM system (issue material, work order/lot status and process)Participates in inventory audits for inventory accuracy and periodic cycle countsFollows all company safety policies, procedures and guidelinesMaintains an organized, safe and efficient work areaProvides training or cross-training when requiredPerforms all other job tasks as needed.What You'll Bring:Ability to read and understand SOPs, work instruction and manufacturing travelerMust be able to communicate clearly and effectively in EnglishAbility to learn and work efficiently to meet necessary release due dateMust be detail-oriented, good housekeeping and organizationParticipates in a continuous improvement activityExcellent attendanceBasic knowledge of Microsoft ExcelMust be able to work overtime as requiredEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred1 to 3 years of experience in rigid, flex and rigid flex printed circuit and assembly industry preferredPlease note that in addition to prolonged sitting, the work environment requires repetitive hand motion such as handling, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity.Schedule:1st Shift available (7:30am - 4:00pm)Monday to FridayOvertime and Weekends as requiredJob Type: Full-timeCalifornia Pay Range$18 - $19 USDThe actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.Pioneer Circuits provides a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time roles, encompassing healthcare, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
