Assembly Lead TechSURESTAFF is immediately hiring an Assembly Lead Tech for a large, well-known client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Under the direction of the Automation Engineer Assistant Manager, coordinates caster machines activities on a given line or group of machines. Maintains machines and materials for the machines to produce quality parts in accordance with the specification requirements. Responsible for all equipment related to the caster machines in their assigned area.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20.52/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 3rd Shift 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday)*pay increasement after 30 consecutive days*Responsibilities of the Assembly Lead Tech:Have knowledge of and comply with all company policies. Interprets and follows proper procedure when it comes to enforcementHave knowledge of company standard operating procedures necessary for the positionComplies with and ensures that standard operating procedures are followed on a daily basisHave knowledge of 5S principles. Interprets, implements and delegates 5S responsibilities to maintain good housekeeping measuresSupports and carries out instructions from the Automation Engineer Assistant ManagerMaintains monitors, trouble shoots and repairs caster machines or ergonomic equipment to maximize production uptime. Communicates with appropriate personnel when major repairs are necessaryCommunicates and works with other shifts to provide efficient handover of operationsPerforms start-ups, shutdowns and ensures that all machines are set up in conjunction with the production planPerform quality checks in assigned areas in order to meet production and quality standardsPractices and enforces safe work practicesCourteous, cooperative, and respectful demeanor towards all company personnel in words and actionsAssembles boxes, pallets, labels, etc. to receive finished goodsRequired Qualifications of the Assembly Lead Tech:Good communication and leadership skills with 1-year supervisory experience preferred.Good English communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong interpersonal/communication skills (verbal and written)1-2 years hands on experience in a manufacturing/injection molding environment.Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs.About SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
