Assembly Mechanic - Direct HireAssembly Mechanic Location: Stuart, Florida Level: Senior, Level 3/Level 4GENEROUS SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 (after successful completion of 120-day probationary period) RELOCATION AVAILABLE: Up to $20,000 relocation assistance available (after successful completion of 120-day probationary period, participation is limited to those who meet the location requirements.)JSG is now accepting applications for experienced aviation heavy structures sheet metal mechanics, Level 3/Level 4 who bring 3+ years' experience for our client in Stuart Florida.Why Join?Dynamic Environment: A fast paced, supportive workplace focused on learning and growth.Career Progression: Contribute to the creation of world-class aerospace products.Team Culture: Work alongside motivated, collaborative professionals.What You'll DoFabricate and assemble aircraft sheet metal and composite structural componentsUse precision measuring tools to ensure quality standardsPerform inspections and maintain accurate documentationRead and work from engineering drawings and production specificationsWhat You Need3+ years of heavy aviation structural build experience from MFG environmentDemonstrate skill level by successfully passing plate testAbility to pass skills assessments – verbal, virtual and hands onExperienced structural assembly, preferably on Boeing and Gulfstream productsAbility to follow written, electronic and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervisionRead and understand blueprintsAbility to wear a respirator and other safety gearAble to use a variety of fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of workAble to work from blueprints, sketches, work instructionsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAvailable to work 1st and/or 2nd shift after training and as requiredAvailable to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekendsPhysical RequirementsRegularly lift/move up to 30 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.Frequent hand use; steady hand-eye coordinationStanding, walking, bending, reaching, and stoopingAbility to work in varied physical positionsClear communication and hearing abilitiesCompany provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Life Insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off and HolidaysAll persons working on the shop floor must have hard-toe safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection (Daher has hearing protection available and provided at no cost).
