Job description
Assembly Operative FS 2nd ShiftThe primary purpose of this position is to perform repetitive assembly operations in the manufacturing of skylight component parts according to production standards and plans.Primary Responsibilities:Performs work according to Job Instructions (J.I's) assigned to the positionEnsures production, quality and safety standards are metPerforms cleaning and maintaining of 5's practicesPerforms other assignments as directed by local supervisionHourly Pay Rate: $20.25 to $22.30 (Includes $1 shift differential for 2nd shift)Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm to 3:00amQualifications:High School Diploma or GED is preferredExperience in a production environment is preferredAbility to perform the essential functions assigned to the positionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience reading and utilizing blueprints is preferredUnderstanding of metric measurement systems is preferredMust be able to work overtime and on weekends as neededThe desire and ability to work in a team environment demonstrated through a positive quality, safety, attendance and good work historyCompliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.Employee Benefits:Our ambition of treating employees better than most other companies includes the challenging work environment we strive to create as well as the competitive benefit programs available to employees and their dependents upon joining the Company.
