Assembly Seibi TechnicianAssembly Seibi TechnicianLocation: TMMK, Georgetown, KYRate range: (Redacted)-(Redacted)Travel: 50%- The travel is project based, but always a possibility. Locations would include those countries Canada, Mexico and Japan. Purpose of travel is definitely hands on work, meetings, and observations.Overtime: 20%Collaborative. Respectful. We're looking for diverse, talented team members who want to grow and challenge what's possible with us.Our Client's Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Assembly Seibi Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical/skilled support to Assembly Final Assembly Engineering team. This includes design/drawing review, buyoff support, install/commissioning, and equipment start up support. Reporting to the Seibi Manager the person in this role will support the Final Assembly Production Engineering department's objective to provide high quality, low cost and reliable plant Equipment and control systems.What you'll be doing:Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functionsInstall equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipmentInvestigate to determine modification requirementsImplement modificationsTrial and adjustLower cost and decrease project time by confirming safety, quality, and productivity of equipment at vendor, prior to installationMinimize adjustment time during vehicle trials by performing quality trials at vendorLower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor, and facilitating kanban processImprove equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trialsConfirm quality results by secondary method (Torque check, vacuum profiles, etc)Install, setup and troubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllersProvide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipmentShare Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production MembersTravel up to 50% at times.Requirements:Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc, Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley)- 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of PLC's - 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls- 2 years2 year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawingsAbility to travel up to 50% at times. (Including International travel)Ability to work up to 30% overtime when required.Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasionAbility to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching on varying surfaces.Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.Ability to work in various environments including hot, cold, or confined spacesStamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long shifts.At KAYGEN, we are always looking for dynamic, talented and experienced individuals.
