Manufacturing Technician – Aerospace MaskingLocation: South Windsor, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $20.00/hour | Weekly PayPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Masking Technician to join a leading aerospace manufacturing team in South Windsor, CT. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing aerospace components for finishing processes by carefully masking metallic and non-metallic parts according to detailed customer specifications and blueprints. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision craftsmanship and maintaining high quality standards in a manufacturing environment.Schedule & Overtime ExpectationsAll positions must be able to work overtime and Saturday mornings from 6:00 AM–12:00 PM when necessary. We value our team's time off and hope to keep Saturday work to a minimum, but it is required from time to time. We will NEVER work Sundays or Holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesApply masking tapes, foils, plugs, screws, and related materials to aerospace components based on blueprint and customer specificationsInterpret detailed masking requirements for various part numbers and customer instructionsHandle and mask parts weighing 20+ pounds depending on product typeUtilize hand tools to achieve precise and clean masking resultsMaintain strict quality standards and follow all safety procedures during production processesFollow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and customer documentationSupport team production goals while maintaining the ability to work independentlyAssist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentQualificationsPrevious masking experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive hand and wrist movementsComfortable standing for extended periods in an active production environmentBasic computer skills and effective written and verbal communication abilitiesFlexibility to work overtime or adjusted hours when production demands requireBenefitsWeekly pay via direct depositMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid holidays and referral bonusesLong-term and temp-to-hire career opportunities
