You'll be:Performing painting duties to achieve finished products that meet high-quality standards and engineering requirements.Following all prescribed safety procedures and utilizing required PPE, including respirators and full-body protection in the spray booth.Setting up paint for spraying, moving drums as needed, adding reducers, stirring paint, and maintaining proper pressures.Mixing paint with hardeners for repairs and special colors, both by hand and using electronic paint proportioning equipment.Setting up, adjusting, and operating spray equipment to achieve the required finish.Cleaning and lubricating spray equipment as needed to ensure reliable operation.Maintaining the paint mix and spray areas in a clean and orderly condition, upholding 5S standards.Inspecting painted surfaces for defects, correcting what you can, and escalating unresolved issues to your Supervisor.Reporting faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the Supervisor.Interpreting drawings and work instructions to ensure paint quality and application requirements are met.Keeping cleaning solvents covered and waste containers properly managed.This job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have previous experience in industrial painting or assembly (preferred, but not required).Are able to follow detailed safety guidelines and procedures.Are comfortable wearing full-body PPE and using respirators as required.Can read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.Possess attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Are physically able to move paint drums and perform manual tasks as needed.Are reliable, punctual, and ready to learn new skills.Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
