Stäubli guarantees high quality, reliability, and performance - our strong basis for the trusted partnership with our customers worldwide.Job DescriptionThe Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling product according to Stäubli specifications both individually, and in teams. This will require using basic hand tools and referencing manufacturing documentation on a daily basis.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManual assembly and or kitting of Stäubli productOperate one or more production cells stationsDirect and assist temporary workers with assembly techniques of Stäubli productPerform repetitive assembly tasksUtilize different hand tools & basic measurement devices on a daily basisReference basic assembly documents and tables related to the jobWork with semi-automated assembly equipmentPackage and transfer product to the warehouseComplete all paperwork related to the job and record through put, scrap, downtime and inventory needed for each machine as applicableWork within the computer system to issue and complete production ordersMaintain a general knowledge of standard work practices as applicable to the positionPerform all daily tasks and responsibilities with limited supervisionWork with engineers and technicians to improve manufacturability of various designsLift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods of timePerform other duties as assigned by supervisorQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must:Maintain a high standard of quality through all aspects of the jobBe able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyBe a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self-starterHave good communication skills to work effectively with engineering and qualityHave the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform basic mathematical calculations such as ratios, percentages and ratesAdditional InformationEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school level education or GEDSoldering skills and experience in a production environment a plusComputer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP Software (SAP)Stäubli Corporation is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
