Job description
Assembly Table Assistant (Second Shift)The Assembly Table Assistant (Second Shift) supports production operations by assisting in the assembly of materials and components according to work orders and specifications. This role performs repetitive tasks in a team-based environment to ensure products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.Responsibilities:Assist in assembling materials and components based on work instructions and specificationsFollow direction from supervisors or team leads to support production processesPerform repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools and equipmentPosition, align, and secure materials to meet required specificationsOperate basic machinery or equipment as needed and trainedInspect work to ensure quality standards are metMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety policies and proceduresSupport team members to meet production goals and deadlinesPerform additional duties as neededQualifications:Ability to follow instructions and work within established processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively in a team environmentBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand toolsStrong work ethic and reliabilityExperience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environmentsFamiliarity with basic tools and equipmentAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift and move materials as required (lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally push or move up to 110 lbs)Comfortability with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying environmental conditionsAbility to work extended hours based on production needsBenefits:Health Care BenefitsPaid Time OffBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
