Assembly Team LeadRD Industries is a manufacturing company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We make chemical containment and dispensing products used by customers around the world. Our team works together every day to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.The Assembly Team Lead helps keep production running safely, on time, and with high quality. This role supports the team on the floor, helps solve problems, and keeps work moving smoothly during the shift. You will guide team members, answer questions, and make sure work meets company standards.Support and guide assembly team members during the shiftHelp set up equipment and fix simple production issuesMake sure work stays on schedule and meets quality standardsMonitor the production floor and adjust work as neededTrain employees and answer questionsPromote teamwork and a positive work environmentWork with Quality and Maintenance to reduce downtimeFollow safety rules and report hazardsComplete production paperwork accuratelyCommunicate any delays or issues to leadershipStrong communication and leadership skillsGood problem-solving and decision-making abilityOrganized and detail-orientedAbility to motivate and support a teamBasic computer skillsAbility to read schedules and simple drawingsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of manufacturing experience preferredManufacturing floor environmentStanding and walking most of the dayLifting up to 40 poundsBending, reaching, and using stairs as neededRD Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace.
