Job description
Job TitleShift: Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30pmJob Specific Role ExpectationsProduce (assemble, inspect, pack) product in accordance with SOP's, meeting or exceeding production and quality standards while minimizing scrap to customer satisfaction.Using a variety of different ways or means, move materials as required, work with material handlers.Maintain records relating to production, downtime, quality, maintenance, hour by hour chart completion.Mack Volvo downpack and assemblyEnsure that all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work and/or with measuring devicesDetermine production needs for the day within the area, schedule product accordingly.Meet or exceed production requirements or notify Team Lead or Manager of reason of deviation from standardWork safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devicesKeep work area, equipment, machine, etc. clean and orderly at all timesPerform necessary computer transactions in various computer applications and software programsOffer suggestions and assist in implementation for improving productivity, process safety and work environment.Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other designated personMust perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems.Core CompetenciesAdaptability & FlexibilityCooperation and support of others/TeamworkCustomer/Quality focusHousekeeping (5-S)Initiative/drive, results orientedJudgment & decision makingProblem solving (including corrective & preventative action)Process orientation & continuous improvement focusSafety first focusTime managementWritten and oral communicationsQMS (Quality Management Systems)Work Environment:Walking, bending, standing, carrying product, reaching overhead and heavy lifting requiredJob requires the ability to stand or walk 10 – 12 hoursAbility to frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 35 pounds
