Assembly Technician 2nd ShiftWith over 100 years' accumulated experience, ZIEHL-ABEGG is the world leading fan and motor manufacturer. ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented 2nd Shift Assembly Technician, who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.Your main responsibilities will be:Assembling various types of industrial fans per work order and within stated scrap ratesBalancing & testing fans and motorsStaging partsReading blueprintsUsing precision measurement equipmentDaily workplace cleaningOperating a forklift & pallet jackOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Proven work experience in productionWorking with basic hand tools & precision measuring equipment.Basic math skillsExperience with inventoryWorking with hand tools, detail oriented in a fast paced environment, familiar with metric systemFamiliar with windows based computersKnowledge of lean manufacturingAbility to stand on concrete for the entirety of the shiftAbility to pick up and move partsHeavy lifting (50 lbs. to 70 lbs.)Ability to reach, bend, handle, lift, walk and standAbility to work in non-climate controlled environmentAuthorized to work for any employer in the United StatesWe offer:Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.We offer comprehensive Health, Dental and VisionCompany-paid Life insurance, Short, and Long-Term Disability insurance, and Parental leave.401(k) retirement account with generous company matchPhenomenal work life balance offering twenty (20) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar yearHolidays totaling ten (10) per calendar year with an additional floating holiday of employee's choice.Career advancement and training opportunitiesEEO compliant employer
