Position Summary
As an Assembly Technician , you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components using work instructions, blueprints, and schematics while meeting quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components following detailed instructions and specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment (including overhead cranes)
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards
Identify and report defects or issues during assembly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Meet daily production goals and deadlines
Perform basic testing and troubleshooting when needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills are a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift and move 25-35 lbs
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Work Environment
Clean, controlled manufacturing facility
Work around machinery and production equipment
PPE required (steel-toe boots & safety glasses)
