Assembly TechnicianBoise, IDMonday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMJob DescriptionWe are seeking motivated Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in Boise, ID. This is a hands-on role responsible for assembling mechanical systems and components using hand tools, power tools, blueprints, and work instructions. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing.This position offers a stable schedule, opportunities for growth, and the chance to build high-quality products in a clean and organized production environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble tubing, piping, valves, fittings, and mechanical components according to blueprints and work instructions.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.Safely operate hand tools and power tools to complete assemblies.Use tape measures and other measuring devices to ensure accurate component placement and assembly.Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily production goals.Assist with material handling and other production tasks as needed.QualificationsExperience using hand and power toolsAbility to read blueprints and assembly drawingsMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExperience in manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing, automotive, fabrication, or related fields preferredAbility to accurately read a tape measureStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and positive attitudeIdeal BackgroundsMechanical AssemblerAssembly TechnicianPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for the duration of the shiftLift up to 40 lbs regularlyPerform repetitive assembly tasksBend, reach, stoop, and move materials throughout the dayWork EnvironmentWork in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility where safety, quality, and teamwork are top priorities. Employees use hand and power tools daily while assembling mechanical systems and components according to detailed specifications and customer requirements.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
