Job description
Assembly TechnicianODRA is a manufacturer of premium road maintenance equipment. Offering a versatile range of street sweepers that are easy to operate and maintain, our products are sold in North America and internationally.With a new 17,000-square-foot expansion, we are growing our space, product line, and staff! ODRA is a small company with a casual environment and friendly people.As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical and electronic components in industrial systems. This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided.Key responsibilities include:Assemble components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsUse hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure all products are built and tested per documented proceduresInspect parts to ensure they meet company quality standardsAssist with the assembly and installation of electronic components in industrial systemsAssist with the assembly and installation hydraulic systemsInstall and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnessesTroubleshoot and conduct functional testing of electronic and electrical systemsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications and skills include:Ability to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to use common shop toolsStrong attention to detail and mechanical aptitudeWillingness to learn and take directionOverhead crane and forklift training an asset (training provided if needed)Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is a plusWorking conditions include:Full-time, on-siteClean and safe work environmentRegular hours with occasional overtimeCompensation and benefits include:Employer-paid benefits for employeePaid time offPaid training providedSafety boot allowanceCompany-paid uniformAll tools and equipment provided by ODRA
